Entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders are constantly pushing beyond their comfort zones, making high-stakes decisions, taking financial and reputational risks, and stepping into uncertainty where fear is often an unavoidable companion. While courage is celebrated in entrepreneurship, the internal struggle with self-doubt, anxiety, and pressure is rarely discussed openly. Learning to face fear head-on and use it productively can be the difference between hesitation and decisive, confident leadership.
Join us at Chance Meetings on Monday, January 5th to start the year with a powerful shift in mindset by learning how to harness the power of fear. Jason Ochs, a trial lawyer with more than 20 years of experience, teaches professionals how to overcome uncertainty and self-doubt in high-pressure situations. Through years of courtroom experience, he has developed a proven, four-step process, battle-tested where the stakes are highest, that transforms fear into fuel for growth and performance.
Jason’s methodology was born from witnessing how stress and anxiety could derail even the most capable individuals during depositions and cross-examinations. His approach prepared people to become mentally and emotionally resilient under pressure. Now, Jason is bringing this powerful framework beyond the courtroom, sharing practical tools that help individuals channel fear into focus, clarity, and strength. |

| | REMEMBERING CHUCK FLEISCHMAN |
|
| |
It is with great sadness that we honor the memory of Chuck Fleischman, who passed away on November 12 after a courageous seven-year battle with cancer. As both a Trustee and TEAMS mentor, Chuck gave generously of his time, insight, and support to Silicon Couloir and its entrepreneurs. Says former Silicon Couloir ED Gary Trauner, who knew Chuck well, "Recently, we lost one of the truly good people in the world. Chuck became a Trustee of Silicon Couloir for one simple reason: to provide others with the opportunity to succeed in reaching their dreams. He was always available to give advice and lend an ear. Chuck was outgoing, gregarious, always smiling and, most of all, a doer, whether it was being active in his beloved Jackson Hole outdoors or engaging in helping create and build entrepreneurial opportunities for our community. He will be sorely missed." |
