There are two ways to get an opportunity to pitch to our investors. The first is simply to submit an application and the second is to be referred by a member of the investor group, ecosystem partner, or one of our investor friends. Before submitting an application, please review our investment criteria below.

Capital Connect looks at companies across every industry—healthcare, technology, consumer goods, software, and more. Companies that are best suited to pitch to our investors are innovative, led by strong entrepreneurs, and have the potential to yield a high return to investors.
For eligibility, a company must meet one of the following criteria:
Company has HQ in Wyoming, Montana, or Idaho.
Company was referred by a Teton Angel member or Community Organization.
Company was referred by one of our angel friends in another state that has already decided to invest.
Company is currently raising a minimum of $200k in a Pre-Seed, Seed, or Series A round.

Angel investment is the right source of funding for only a small proportion of entrepreneurial businesses. When considering yourself for investment by an individual angel or angel group, ask yourself these key questions:
Am I willing to give up some amount of ownership and control of my company?
Can I demonstrate that my company is likely to realize significant revenues and earnings in the next 3-7 years?
Can I demonstrate that my company will produce a significant return for investors?

The mission of Capital Connect is to help founders access capital by connecting them with angels, investors and strategic funding opportunities. Bad actors, malicious conduct, or prospecting will not be tolerated.

The expectation for group membership is that you have a high likelihood of investing in at least one opportunity within your first two years. If it is your first year as a member, you are not expected to participate until you’ve properly observed the processes and procedures.

Capital Connect screens applications from startups currently fundraising and hosts eight pitch meetings per year (both in person and virtually) to showcase pitches from the best companies building in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.
We embrace a collaborative diligence approach and Capital Connect facilitates access to our broad network of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple industries.
Interested investors collaborate on deal negotiation and we connect them to additional followers and syndication partners.
There are plenty of opportunities for upleveling your Angel Investing education, working with founders, volunteer positions across screening & diligence, and networking with other like-minded investors.
