Teton Entrepreneurs & Mentors Service
Eligibility and Requirements for Ventures
Who We Serve
TEAMS primarily serves entrepreneurs in the Greater Teton Region (Teton County WY/ID, Northern Lincoln County WY, and Pinedale WY). Entrepreneurs based elsewhere in Wyoming or eastern Idaho may be considered based on program capacity and fit, provided they lack access to comparable local support and can demonstrate active commitment to Silicon Couloir and TEAMS programming.
For-Profit, B-Corp & Social Enterprise Ventures
To be eligible, your venture must:
Show a clear path toward scaling through hiring, launching a scalable product beyond the prototype stage, raising capital, or generating revenue
Be past the idea stage (not yet there? We recommend starting with Entrepreneurial Mindset Training)
Have more than one person, or a concrete plan to expand beyond a solo operator. Single-person consultancies without a growth plan are not eligible
Service-based businesses with growth constrained by staff capacity and billable hours must clearly articulate a path toward a scalable product or model.
Industry note: Tourism and real estate development ventures are not eligible unless the applicant can demonstrate they primarily serve the local community in sectors outside of those industries.
Nonprofit Ventures
10% of TEAMS program capacity is reserved for nonprofits. If the program is at capacity, nonprofits are placed on a first-come, first-served waitlist.
To be eligible, your nonprofit must:
Have at least 12 months of operating history
Have a minimum annual operating budget of $100,000
Have more than one person, or a near-term plan to expand the team (this should be addressed in your application)
Demonstrate measurable regional and/or broader impact, supported by a defined mission and clear impact metrics
Offer an approach that is meaningfully differentiated within the nonprofit landscape — addressing a genuine gap in existing services or solutions
Have an Executive Director with the operational control and budget authority to act on TEAMS recommendations
Values & Commitment
All applicants — for-profit and nonprofit — must:
Align with SC's guiding principle: Profit. People. Planet.
Actively participate in the SC ecosystem and events
Attend at least one Chance Meeting prior to acceptance
Dedicate a minimum of 20 hours per week to their venture
Demonstrate coachability, accountability, and ongoing progress
Program Expectations
Once accepted, all participants are expected to:
Attend their first meeting in person (no exceptions)
Meet monthly for the first three months
Maintain a monthly to quarterly meeting cadence thereafter
Submit meeting agendas at least 7 days in advance
Complete post-meeting documentation after each session
Submit quarterly metrics reports
