Teton Entrepreneurs & Mentors Service
Eligibility and Requirements for Ventures
Who We Serve
TEAMS is headquartered in Jackson, WY and primarily serves entrepreneurs in the Greater Teton Region and surrounding western Wyoming communities as far as Cody, Pinedale and Tetonia, Idaho.
Founders based outside this primary region may be considered on a case-by-case basis. You are eligible to apply if any of the following apply to your venture:
You (the founder) are based in Wyoming or eastern Idaho
You plan to hire staff and create meaningful jobs in Wyoming or eastern Idaho
Your venture is incorporated/organized in Wyoming or Idaho
For-Profit, B-Corp & Social Enterprise Ventures
To be eligible, your venture must:
Show a clear path toward scaling through hiring, launching a scalable product beyond the prototype stage, raising capital, or generating revenue
Be past the idea stage (not yet there? We recommend starting with Entrepreneurial Mindset Training)
Have more than one person, or a concrete plan to expand beyond a solo operator. Single-person consultancies without a growth plan are not eligible
Service-based businesses with growth constrained by staff capacity and billable hours must clearly articulate a path toward a scalable product or model.
Industry: We do not accept real estate development companies; businesses in the tourism sector will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must demonstrate that it has an innovative, growth-driven business model.
Nonprofit Ventures
10% of TEAMS program capacity is reserved for nonprofits. If the program is at capacity, nonprofits are placed on a first-come, first-served waitlist.
To be eligible, your nonprofit must:
Have at least 12 months of operating history
Have a minimum annual operating budget of $100,000
Have more than one person, or a near-term plan to expand the team (this should be addressed in your application)
Demonstrate measurable regional and/or broader impact, supported by a defined mission and clear impact metrics
Offer an approach that is meaningfully differentiated within the nonprofit landscape — addressing a genuine gap in existing services or solutions
Have an Executive Director with the operational control and budget authority to act on TEAMS recommendations
