CREATING POSSIBILITY: THE WONDER INSTITUTE SUMMER UPDATE
Building Shared Creative Spaces Across the Valley
There’s a creative groundswell happening in Jackson—and The Wonder Institute is at the heart of it. The Wonder Institute is one of the newest additions to our TEAMS program, and we’re proud to support their mission to empower creatives. Through their work, they’re helping entrepreneurs build businesses while also providing community space and resources for learning and creating—ranging from silversmithing and woodworking to sewing, robotics, and more.
Here’s what’s taking shape:
Rip n Stitch is building out a public sewing studio, offering creative tools and opportunities for the community to repair, design, and make.
Olivtrees Silversmithing is hosting public classes and preparing to install a fully equipped public silversmithing studio, generously donated to The Wonder Institute. This space will offer hands-on access to tools and mentorship—supporting creativity, skill-building, and entrepreneurship.
We are entering into a consulting agreement with Central Wyoming College to expand access to CTE (Career & Technical Education) throughout the valley—building real pathways from school to career for Jackson youth.
Sixteen brand-new 3D printers were just delivered to the TCSD office. This fall, we’ll begin training teachers across the district, ensuring more students can access design, engineering, and digital fabrication tools.
From robotics to woodworking, sewing to silversmithing, The Wonder Institute is building shared creative spaces that connect people across generations and backgrounds—and empower communities to learn, make, and thrive together.
