Join us at Melvin Brewing in Alpine, WY on Wednesday, August 9th from 5-7 pm for a panel discussion led by Mayor Eric Green on growing an entrepreneurial ecosystem in Northern Lincoln County, part of Silicon Couloir’s “tri-county” service area. This community event is aimed at identifying the needs for a thriving future and will bring together passionate entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors, and support organizations to spark conversations and collaborative efforts. SC STAFF MEMBER HIGHLIGHT

Many entrepreneurs in our ecosystem are former competitive (and often professional) athletes. The experience they gained in sport shape who they are as entrepreneurs. As a former Division 1 alpine ski racer, SC staff member Brittney Ziebell knows a thing or two about competition. In this short film Brittney produced and launched in 2020, she explores what skiing and community mean to her in a new light on her own terms.

LATITUDE is a poetic short documentary film that follows four daring young women to the 79th parallel, under 700 miles from the North Pole to rediscover themselves amidst Svalbard's epic arctic ocean sailing, ice mountain climbs, and ski descents.
