Applications Now Being Accepted for the
Start-Up Intensive

Central Wyoming College and Silicon Couloir present the 10th session of the Start-Up Intensive - a comprehensive business accelerator program aimed at propelling aspiring and existing entrepreneurs and encouraging Wyoming’s economic growth and diversification.

From April 9 through June 13, 2109, 12-14 participants will dedicate three full days per week to class time in addition to working through their ideas after class hours. The class ends with participants presenting their businesses to a panel of experienced advisors. Once the class time program concludes, participants have ten hours of follow up consulting time with a panel of experts to use as they move forward.

Enrollment is limited.  Applications are welcome and encouraged from any location. Workforce Training Grants and financial assistance may be available to those who qualify. Housing can be addressed. 18 college credits are available from CWC. Go to www.siliconcouloir.com/startup for more details and to apply.  Applications are due February 15 and will be considered on a rolling basis if the class does not fill at that time. Call Liza Millet for additional information at 917-864-9395 or email startup@siliconcouloir.com.

New Sponsor Spotlight

Silicon Couloir is proud to introduce our newest sponsor:
Teton Technology Solutions

Founder Andrew Bishop started Teton Technology Solutions (TTS) in 2013 as more-or-less an experiment.  "I didn't have high expectations of success but wanted to investigate running my own business doing something I loved: helping people with computers," says Bishop. Prior to starting Teton Technology Solutions, Bishop worked in information technology (IT) for about 10 years in various capacities.

Since 2013 TTS has grown rapidly and now boasts a team of six people. TTS specializes in IT support for small to medium businesses covering workstations, servers, email systems, security, networking, consulting and various IT projects. With a signature service called "Mission Control", TTS functions as a proactive, outsourced IT department service, bucking the traditional "break-fix" approach of many IT companies.

SUI Grad Launches Kiva Kickstarter for
Wyoming Wild Raw

Nicole Walker loves animals and is “passionate about people, land, food, critters and how they intersect in our lives.”  Armed with a Bachelors in Animal Science Ag and training from the Start-Up Intensive, she founded Wyoming Wild Raw, (WWR)  a raw pet food company that partners with existing Wyoming meat processors to collect and utilize the 50% of each processed animal that is normally discarded to landfills.

Wyoming Wild Raw is participating in a Kiva crowdfunding campaign. Money raised will pay local producers fair prices for livestock inventory and employ local processors to begin production of product. Over six weeks, three founder’s boxes will be delivered to your door. Boxes will include antelope, bison, and Double J Ranch beef formulated using the “Whole Prey Model”.
