January 7th Chance Meeting- Raise the Paddle for Mentorship and Bingo!

January 7th Chance Meetings

5-7 pm @ The Rose

Please note date change due to New Year's Eve

Sometimes all you need is the right connection and a little inspiration. Well, what are you waiting for? Come find both at our free monthly networking event. You never know...

Silicon Couloir is excited to announce the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole has awarded a $5000 matching grant for our 2019 TEAMS (Teton Entrepreneurs and Mentoring Service) Mentor Training. This grant will help train 25 TEAMS Mentors who will support Teton-area ventures as they grow and develop their companies.
On Monday, January 7th during our monthly Chance Meetings, the community will have an opportunity to help support these mentors and entrepreneurs during a lightning round of Raise the Paddle for Mentorship. Attendees can help Silicon Couloir meet the match and unlock the funding.

TEAMS is a cornerstone program of Silicon Couloir. Started in 2018, TEAMS provides free, ongoing, on-demand, unbiased, structured mentoring to entrepreneurs in the Teton region. Three to five mentors meet with a solo entrepreneur or venture team for structured, 90-minute mentoring sessions. During the pilot phase, the program used the team-based mentoring process to support six local ventures. The program has since accepted four new ventures and is currently accepting applications for new ventures and mentors on a rolling basis.

The TEAMS program is based on the MIT Venture Mentor Service model. The goal of the program is to help shape the minds and promote the success of the next generation of entrepreneurs and community leaders. The MIT VMS program has been adapted to 89 communities around the country and across the globe. Silicon Couloir is bringing mentoring experts from MIT to provide additional training for TEAMS mentors in this highly effective model.

Join Silicon Couloir Monday, January 7th from 5-7 pm for Raise the Paddle for Mentorship at The Rose.
